Dr. Khuri-Bulos is a Professor of Pediatrics and Infectious Disease and the Head of the Division of Infectious Disease at the Jordan University Hospital. She is also an adjunct professor of Pediatric Infectious Disease at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and the Chairman of the Jordan Medical Board Infectious Disease Committee.
Dr. Khuri-Bulos has served as Chairman of Department of Pediatrics and Director of the Infection Control Unit at the Jordan University Hospital, is American Board certified in Pediatrics and Infectious Disease and has received the Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC).
She has served on many committees with the Jordan Ministry of Health in order to plan for child immunization, outbreak control, HIV/AIDS treatment, Avian and Swine flu and Polio eradication. Dr. Khuri-Bulos is also a standing committee member in the International Pediatric Association (IPA) where she serves as co-chairman of the immunization program area, and is the vice chairman of the standing committee of the Brighton Collaboration. Her research interests include vaccine adverse events, childhood infections, health care related infections, typhoid fever, brucellosis and blood stream infections.
