Position Summary:

The Program Associate, Coalition against Typhoid (CaT) Secretariat will serve as a member of the Vaccine Advocacy and Education team and report to the Director, Coalition against Typhoid (CaT) Secretariat.  The Program Associate will be responsible for various duties, including providing support with grant/funder opportunities, advocacy and communications efforts, events and logistics planning, and resource mobilization.

Senior Project Manager, Vaccine Development

Position Summary:

The Senior Project Manager, under the direction of the Vice President/Deputy Director, will support a multidisciplinary project team, within an established project governance structure, to ensure that project deliverables and activities are completed on time and within budget, and according to the development timelines.  Key roles include monitoring of project activities and management of multi-directional communications internally and with external partners, management/leadership of the hookworm and other helminths vaccine project team and its meetings (preparation of coordinated agendas, meeting facilitation, generation of meeting summaries and management of action logs), participation in development of technical presentations for discussion and review, coordination and tracking of project schedules (using MSProject).  In addition, it will be the responsibility of the Senior Project Manager to assist in managing the hookworm vaccine program through ongoing monitoring and re-assessment of the project budget(s) and its execution as it relates to the project plan.

Program Officer, Quality Assurance, Vaccine Development

Position Summary:

The Program Officer, Quality Assurance, Vaccine Development will be responsible for quality assurance functions.  This individual will work closely with counterparts in Washington, DC to oversee the Quality Assurance team’s mission, ensuring that vaccines developed are of high quality and all related materials, processes and personnel comply with the requirements.  The incumbent will have an advisory role for non-regulated research studies that support Sabin PDP projects.

The Program Officer’s tasks will primarily be focused in pre-clinical vaccine development activities, and will include the oversight and improvement of new and existing documentation systems and databases.  The individual will review, revise and create, as needed, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accommodate Sabin’s Core Quality System.  This individual must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple priorities and interface with individuals from cross-functional areas of the PDP and external vendors.  This individual will review and compile materials for technical transfers and CMC.  The Program Officer will help in defining programmatic milestones and assessing critical resources and timelines related to quality concerns. 

The Program Officer will report directly to the Director, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, Vaccine Development and work closely with all members of the Vaccine Development team and partners.
