Position Summary:

The Communications Intern will assist with drafting and creating content such as blog posts, factsheets and emails, in addition to supporting social media, creating media lists, monitoring for relevant news stories as well as general support of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor for daily news articles and share relevant media clips with staff
  • Draft blog posts, factsheets, emails, web content and social media content
  • Create and manage media lists for public relations outreach
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest communications and public relations news, tactics and strategies
  • Track relevant social media coverage and use appropriate metrics for analysis
  • Update website content as needed
  • Assist with meetings and events
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Position Summary:

The Associate will support our Vaccine Access and Uptake projects, which aim to increase uptake of new and under-utilized vaccines.  The Associate will be responsible for various duties including assistance with advocacy efforts, event coordination, grant/funder opportunities and resource mobilization.

Position Summary:

The Coordinator will proactively support the President of Global Immunization and other Sabin leadership with a wide variety of administrative and logistical duties related to travel, calendar management, meeting scheduling, expense reporting and event planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel through Sabin’s preferred travel partner as well as other vendors as necessary
  • Manage the President of Global Immunization’s calendar
  • Assist with team meeting logistics, including scheduling, assembling materials and drafting minutes as required
  • Assist with research and compiling materials for meetings
  • Assist Meetings & Events Manager with logistics for domestic and international meetings
  • Assist with expense reports and check requests
  • Assist with visa applications and acquisition
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Position Summary:

The Director will serve as a subject-matter-expert in the area of international finance and health economics.  The incumbent will be responsible for spearheading the technical, operational and programmatic aspects of the Sustainable Immunization Financing program.  The incumbent must exhibit strong analytic skills, outstanding written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, good attention to detail, and ability to work successfully in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.  The incumbent will collaborate closely with all departments in the organization and collaborate routinely with international partners.

Position Summary:

The Manager will work in close coordination with the Director in support of our Vaccine Access and Uptake projects.  The Manager will help establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures and oversee the programmatic and administrative deliverables related to projects aiming to increase uptake of new and under-utilized vaccines.  The incumbent will work closely with respective internal and external stakeholders to ensure all strategic objectives are met in accordance with established timelines and grant parameters.  The Manager will have experience in global or public health and will be responsible for various duties, including resource mobilization and coordination of grant/funder opportunities, budget management, advocacy, outreach and events coordination, as well as supporting advocacy related resource development, marketing and communications strategic planning efforts.

Position Summary:

The Intern will assist with research, educational projects, digital media, event planning, and logistical and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various research needs related to typhoid, paratyphoid and invasive non-typhoidal Salmonella disease
  • Assist with the dissemination of typhoid epidemiology education Slideset and country-based advocacy toolkits
  • Assist with the Surveillance of Enteric Fever in Asia Project (SEAP) – a project tracking typhoid incidence and severity in four countries - as needed
  • Track current news and events for the Coalition against Typhoid website, social media, newsletter and team meetings
  • Assist with responding to inquiries from the public
  • Assist with coordination of staff travel
  • Assist with organization of international meetings
