Position Summary:

The Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual to assist with global and regional advocacy, communications and grant development efforts.  The Programs and Operations Coordinator will collaborate with the Global Network team and other Sabin colleagues to plan and coordinate our advocacy and communications efforts in support of our partners working in some of the most remote and poverty-stricken areas of the world.  India will be a specific country of focus. This is a full-time position reporting to the Programs and Operations Director.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, administrative and organizational skills; demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently under tight deadlines; and, possess some experience working on global partnership efforts, notably in India.

Senior Technical Officer, Coalition against Typhoid Secretariat

Position Summary:

The Senior Technical Officer will serve as a member of the Coalition against Typhoid (CaT) team and will be instrumental in managing the execution of a new three-year grant (SEAP) to conduct enteric fever surveillance in Asia.

This grant supports the creation of a regional enteric fever surveillance network that will enable the systematic collection of data on enteric fever incidence, mortality, complications (intestinal perforation, etc.), hospitalization rates, and clinical outcome differences between drug-sensitive and drug-resistant Salmonella Typhi (S. Typhi) and Salmonella Paratyhi (S. Paratyphi) to fill the knowledge gaps related to the population impact of enteric fever.  The surveillance network will cover five countries (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal and Pakistan), and will be carried out in two phases over a period of three years.

Position Summary:

The Sabin Vaccine Institute (Sabin) is seeking a consultant to fill a full-time Advocacy and Communications (A/C) Officer position in its Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (Global Network) program.  The A/C Officer will serve as the primary representative of the Global Network in India and lead country advocacy and communications activities on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).  The primary purpose of these activities is to increase the political commitment, public awareness and resources necessary to achieve NTD control and elimination in India.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Quality Assurance will be responsible for establishing, implementing and ensuring the quality assurances, and interfacing with the regulatory requirements in our vaccine development initiatives.

This position will oversee the Quality Assurance team’s mission, ensuring that vaccines developed are of high quality and all related materials, processes and personnel comply with the requirements of relevant regulatory authorities.  The Quality Assurance team may also play an advisory role for non-regulated research studies that may support downstream regulated vaccine development.
