One of the most important aspects of the Sabin Vaccine Institute is the focus on International Vaccine Advocacy (IVA).  Over the past 100 years, vaccines have made a remarkable difference in how we view health care; however, the battle for vaccination continues in countries all over the world as vaccine-preventable diseases still persist.  Through this series of programs, we advocate to ensure that impoverished people around the world, especially those in developing countries, will have access to vaccines.
