This week, the Coalition against Typhoid (CaT) announced the launch of its new, redesigned website, coalitionagainsttyphoid.org.

Up to one-third of the world’s population is at risk for developing typhoid fever — primarily those living in developing countries — where many people lack access to clean water or basic sanitation. CaT is a global forum of health and immunization experts working to expedite and sustain rational, evidence-based decisions regarding the use of vaccines to prevent typhoid fever.

The new CaT site will serve as a hub for information on typhoid and typhoid vaccines, including the latest typhoid and typhoid vaccine research, changes in typhoid vaccine policy and news on CaT members’ activity. Updates on the upcoming 9th International Conference on Typhoid and Other Invasive Salmonelloses, to be held in late April 2015, will also be available on the website.

To receive updates via email, visit the CaT site and join their mailing list
