Families across the United States are sending their young children back to school. School preparations are not limited to buying school supplies. Parents should make sure their children are up-to-date with vaccinations.

In 2014, 115,000 children died from Measles. That’s 13 children every hour, mostly under 5 years old, losing their lives to a vaccine-preventable disease.

Today, Health Affairs released its February 2016 issue, focusing on the complex series of events leading to the development, purchase and eventual delivery of vaccines.
