The IAIM Inaugural Regional Meeting for members from the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa will be held to discuss management challenges facing immunization managers and other health professionals who work to deliver immunization programs.  Members will share challenges they face in their programs across Africa and the Middle East, as well as best practices and lessons learned, in order to shape their programs and improve program performance.
 
Purpose and Format:
 
The two-day program, which will be held 25-26 September 2014, will cover:
 
An introduction to IAIM and membership benefits
Informational presentations featuring management best practices
Member presentations on management experiences, successes, and challenges
Networking sessions and break-out sessions for members of each region to engage in discussions of specific needs and challenges in their regions
The meeting will provide an opportunity to bring members from two regions together to engage in a distinctive peer-to-peer dialogue, as well as meet current IAIM ad hoc Governing Council members from the two regions.
 
Participation
 
Participation is open to all IAIM members from the Sub-Saharan African Region and the Middle East and North African Region. If you would like to attend this meeting but have not yet registered as an IAIM member, please join here.

Once a member has completed their registration to attend they will be contacted and provided with further information about travel and accommodation for the meeting. The Secretariat will also provide IAIM members with the details for contacting the Embassy/Consulate of South Africa for obtaining the require visas to enter their country.
