Position Snapshot:

The Global Community Engagement (Boost) Network empowers immunization managers across the globe to get answers, grow in their role and raise their collective voices by enabling them to connect, elevate, navigate and learn. The Vaccine Acceptance and Demand (VAD) initiative aims to increase acceptance of vaccines and immunization among communities in low- and middle-income countries through programs that research the drivers of vaccine acceptance and by strengthening the capacity of information gatekeepers to communicate about vaccines and immunization.

Position Summary:

The Director, Communications is responsible for project management, regular promotion of Sabin and its programs, and developing and managing the editorial calendar.  Under the leadership of the Vice President, Communications, the Director will also develop and manage project budgets and staff/resource allocations.

The Director, Global Community Engagement is responsible for managing the core aspects of the program, including program design, partnership engagement, membership recruitment and retention, resource development, budget management and general staff supervision.

Position Summary:

The Vice President (VP), Research & Development (R&D) plans and implements all aspects of Sabin’s pre-clinical/non-clinical development activities and plays a key role in applied research, assay development, pharmacology (PK/PD), toxicology, manufacturing, process, analytics and regulatory. The VP works closely with other internal functional leads as well as external subcontractors and consultants. The VP leverages their expertise in the areas of:

Senior Director, Clinical Trials and Clinical Quality Assurance

Position Summary:

Senior Director, Clinical Trials and Clinical Quality Assurance (CQA) is responsible for providing leadership, strategic vision and efficient execution in managing compliance related to Good Clinical Practices (GCP's), Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP's), Good Pharmacovigilance Practices (GPVP's) and other related activities to deliver on Sabin's clinical goals.

Internship Program

Sabin offers a variety of rewarding internship opportunities throughout the year. All internships are paid positions, provided this is not in conflict with your university’s policy when academic credit is earned. Interns support our projects in global immunization and research and development, as well as policy, communications and resource development. Interns are able to work in the following states: Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington and Washington, DC.

The Sabin internship program offers the chance to contribute to global initiatives, gain valuable experience in our Washington, DC office and participate in networking and professional development activities with renowned leaders in global health.
