The Communications Senior Associate leads Sabin media and social media and develops a range of communications to promote the organization and its programs. The Senior Associate crafts clear messaging, develops winning pitch strategies, and has strong writing and editing skills.

Senior Associate, Influenza Vaccine Innovation

Reports to: Director, Influenza Vaccine Innovation

Position Summary:

The senior associate of influenza vaccine innovation will proactively support Sabin’s work to catalyze next generation influenza vaccine leadership and innovation. The senior associate will support the design and capture of a scientific agenda that outlines new approaches, systems and associated resource streams to foster innovation in the influenza vaccine research and development landscape. Working closely with internal leadership and external partners and stakeholders, the senior associate will support work intended to drive the demand for and accelerate the development of universal influenza vaccines.

Manager, Typhoid Programs

Reports to: Vice President, Typhoid Programs
Location: Washington, DC

Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to help manage and implement public health research with our team and external partners. The Manager will play a key oversight role in the Surveillance for Enteric Fever in Asia Project (SEAP), an established surveillance network that systematically collects data on the clinical and community burden of enteric fever. The Manager will ensure protocol compliance through site monitoring and data quality control activities and be responsible for regular reporting to the funder. As needed, the Manager will also participate in the development of new protocol and project implementation plans. The ideal candidate has the ability to think strategically, toggle between being part of a dynamic team and working independently, design and implement epidemiological research protocols, conduct data analyses and communicate results to a variety of audiences. The candidate must be comfortable traveling internationally in typhoid endemic countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan.
