Please find below a list of tools to support sustainable immunization financing. These tools have been designed and created by Sabin’s Sustainable Immunization Financing (SIF) Program team. The purpose of these tools is to assist in managing and evaluating financial data of routine immunization.

Generic Annual Work Plan (GAWP)

The SIF Program’s Generic Annual Work Plan was adapted from a framework that was first generated and used by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). This excel-based tool allows the user to control short-term routine immunization program activities and track resource flows of the funds allocated. The first four tabs require the user to list specific activities and identify financing sources and budget amounts for each. The remaining four tabs automatically generate financial reports as data are entered each quarter.

SIF Budget Flow Analysis

The SIF Program’s Budget Flow Analysis allows the user to evaluate the flow of funds going into the national immunization program. This spreadsheet automatically calculates Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) indicators that capture bottlenecks within the budget process. Financial data are reported for budgetary step.
