Join the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative on the evening of November 3, 2014, for a panel discussion and reception on radically scaling up diagnosis, treatment and research and development (R&D) for people living with Chagas disease, the leading parasitic killer of the Americas.
Coinciding with the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) 63rd Annual Meeting taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, this complementary side event on November 3 will be hosted by the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and will bring together patients, researchers, clinicians and policymakers to shed light on the treatment and research needs of people living with Chagas disease.
