Nadia Afrin

Nadia Afrin leads strategic communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement at Sabin Vaccine Institute. She brings more than 20 years of experience in communications, advocacy, and knowledge management from her career with multilateral organizations and international NGOs.
Before joining Sabin, Nadia held senior communications positions at Population Services International, Palladium, and the International Finance Corporation. In these roles, she developed and led integrated communications strategies across a range of global issues, including public health, impact investing, and financial inclusion. Her work has consistently focused on elevating complex technical topics through compelling storytelling that engages diverse stakeholders and supports policy change.
Nadia holds an MA degree in Science and Technology Policy from George Washington University and a BA in Economics and Astrophysics from Agnes Scott College.
